Revue magazine recently conducted its annual reader’s poll called ‘Best of the West.’ Gun Lake Casino was named the best casino in southwest Michigan for the third year running. This was under the Arts and Attractions category. It was the eighth poll of this nature, and the magazine has a reported circulation of 20,000 per month.

The location of Gun Lake Casino is very convenient as it is located off Exit 61 on U.S. 131, halfway between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo. It is only about 15 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids, the second-largest city in Michigan.

A $350 million renovation is currently taking place at Gun Lake Casino, and it is expected to be concluded in early 2024. It includes a hotel resort, outdoor gardens, an aquadome, and entertainment stages. This will make Gun Lake Casino one of the most modern and biggest facilities in Michigan. The hotel will have 252 rooms and a 32,000 sq. ft. indoor pool complex. It will include tropical vegetation and two pools enclosed by a glass atrium that allows the daylight in.
